Politicians in Beledweyne warn a formation of New State in the Region

A number of Politicians and elders in Beladwene town of Hiran region warned on Tuesday that unilateral formation of state could lead the region to instability. The statement comes amid preparations to announce the establishment of new state in the region.

They accused Somali Federal government for failing to win the trust of the residents in the region.

“The Federal government will take the responsibility if two parallel states established in the two regions. Because the Federal government has failed to win the trust of population in the two regions” said, Abdirhman Hussien Adow, who spoke the Media after the meeting.

Politicians and traditional elders are preparing to announce the establishment of new state in Hiran region. Meanwhile, another state formation conference is going on Jowhar  town of Middle Shebelle.
