President Farmajo call Galmudug leaders for a conference in Mogadishu to end political stability
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has called on the leaders of the Galmudug State for a conference meeting in Mogadishu to end their political stability and security situation in the region.
The President is closely following the current political differences between the leaders of the Galmudug state, and concerns over clashes between clans in Galgadud region causing death, and displacement of families in the region.
The President announcing conference is expected to open from September 24, 2018, to discuss on how to achieve a long lasting solution for the political disputes and the recurring conflicts in the region.
“I am hopeful that all parties will come to end their disagreement on a solution and to work on the development and the progress made by the Federal Government to fulfil the agreements signed by Galmudug officials.” said president Farmajo.
President Farmajo called on all parties in the political stability in Galmudug to avoid any reactions that could ruin the dialogue and peace process.
The political disagreement of Galmudug has passed on different levels, and the Government is always determined to find a solution to the political aspect in the area.
The people in the region are waiting for Galmudug administration to deliver basic services that need political stability and full co-operation within the authorities of the administration.
