President Mohamud Highlights Reform Progress in Meeting with Diplomats
GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has said Somalia is making progress on security, democratisation and humanitarian response.
Speaking as he addressed diplomats and international partners in Mogadishu, the president said the government was prioritising efforts to stabilise the country, strengthen institutions and expand inclusive governance.
He stressed the importance of continued international cooperation, noting that partnerships remained key to sustaining gains and addressing ongoing challenges.
President Mohamud at the same time reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to stability and reform, saying the government was working to build a more secure and resilient state while responding to the needs of its people.
