President Mohamud Meets his Kenyan Counterpart in Rwanda

GOOBJOOG NEWS | KIGALI: Federal government of Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Sunday held talks with his Kenyan counterpart William Ruto in Kigali, Rwanda.

The talks which comes at the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of Rwandan president Paul Kagame in Kigali centered on the pressing challenges facing the region, including efforts to counter terrorism and explore further avenues of cooperation.

Both leaders reaffirmed the enduring Somalia-Kenya partnership and fostered the strong people-to-people relations.

They expressed a mutual commitment to advancing regional peace, stability, and development, guided by shared values.
