President Mohamud Meets UAE Ambassador in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Republic of Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud Monday met Ambassador Ahmed Juma Al-Rumaithi at the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Mogadishu.
The meeting comes days after an attack that killed at least five people, including four Emirati troops and a Bahraini military officer in Mogadishu.
President Hassan conveyed his condolences to the government of the UAE and the families of the soldiers who lost their lives while on a training mission in Somalia.
He further expressed his gratitude for the UAE’s support to Somalia in areas of security and development.
They also discussed ways and means to further enhance the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries.
