Prime Minister Barre says gov’t will win war against Al-Shabaab

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre has said the government will succeed in its war against terrorism.

The Prime Minister said a lot has been achieved in the war adding that the few remnants of the Al-Shabaab militants will soon be eradicated as the government works to rebuild the country and complete the process of drafting a new constitution.

He spoke at the Adde Abdulle airport where he met members of the two houses of parliament, the council of ministers and other government officials today.

The prime minister called on the Somali people to continue praying for the country and support the on-going war against the Al-Shabaab militants.
