Puntland police seize 11 kilos of hashish in sting operation

GOOBJOOG NEWS | PUNTLAND: Puntland police force have seized 11 kilograms of Hashish and arrested three suspected drug dealers.

The officers drawn from Bari police station in Garowe district conducted the operation after receiving a tip from members of the public.

Police say the operation is part of their plan to counter cases of insecurity in the city which they said was attributed to drug dealers.

The police thanked the public for their cooperation and challenged them to reveal information that will lead to arrest of more suspects.
