Puntland State sends delegation to oversee peace treaty signed by two clans in Rakko

The administration of Semi-Autonomous regional state of Puntland has commenced initiatives to enhance peace agreements signed by brotherly clans engaged in armed confrontation in Karkar region previously.
Puntland minister for interior, Ahmed Elmi Osman Karaash has noted that they sent a delegation comprising of politicians and other officials to the two clans as to proceed and tighten the agreements.
“The negotiation conference concluded well and high delegation led by vice president of Puntland state is carrying out efforts to tell other members of the two clans to respect the treaty” the minister highlighted.
This comes a day after the representatives of the two clans signed peace agreement in Rakko district.
