Qardho court sets sentencing date for prisoners who killed fellow inmate

GOOBJOOG NEWS|QARDHO: The first instance court in Qardho has officially set a date for the announcement of the sentence of five prisoners accused of killing a young man identified as Sharmarke Warsame Nuh.

Judges have set June 19, 2022 as the date for sentencing the five men who pleaded guilty to the killing of one of their cellmates, Sharmake.

Sharmake lost his life after sucumbing to serious injuries sustained from torture inflicted by the five men while incarcerated in Qardho, Puntland.
