Security operations in Barawa town is for peace says the local administration
The local administration of Barawa town are conducting security operation this morning on suspicion of some men alleged to be members of Alshabab fighters inside the town and outside locations not far from the town.
The security operation has not yet yielded any suspects so far though there recent criminal activities in the town including nighttime robbing carried out under cover of darkness.
The commissioner of Barawa town Husein Barre said the security operations are continuous and will ongoing on everyday basis to maintain peace.
Though the security is mainly conducted by Somali federal forces but they are backed up by Amisom soldiers.
On the other hand, the local administration confirmed an aerial attack on Kunya Barow location believed against Alshabab fighters and is engaged to assess the extent of the casualties sustained.
