Six Al-Shabaab Suspects Sentenced to Between Six and Ten Years

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BOSASO: A court in Puntland has sentenced six people accused of terrorism to between five and ten years in jail.

The court sentenced Abdirisaq Mohamed Shire, Syed Farah Abdiqadir, Farhan Weirah Likhad and Abdiqani Ali Farah to ten years for their role in aiding terror activities by supplying explosive devices.

The court also sentenced two women- Rahmo Weydow Abdi and Shamso Ali to five years in prison.

The sentencing of the six follows a spate of attacks in Bosaso, Puntland.
