SNA Forces Attack Al-Shabaab Hideouts in Middle Shabelle Region

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MIDDLE SHABELLE: Somali National Army troops launched operations in Middle Shabelle region on Monday amid intensified offensives against the Al-Shabaab militant group.

According to military sources, the forces swept through Ruun-Nirgood locality Monday morning in collaboration with local forces.

Sources added that several Al-Shabaab hideouts were destroyed during the operation amid reports that Al-Shabaab fighters fled the area.
