Somali Forces, Allied Militia Repulse Al-Shabaab Attack in Central Somalia

GOOBJOOG NEWS/GALGADUD: Somali National Army, with the backing of alliedmilitias,a fended off an attack on their forward operating base in Eldher district of Galgadud region.

Military sources said the joint forces fought back the militants Saturday morning as they launched an attack on the army.

The government forces and allied militia captured Eldher town in January 2023.
