Somali Police Offer $10,000 Reward for Information on Soldier’s Killers

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Somali Police Force has announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of two suspects accused of murdering a Somali National Army (SNA) soldier in Mogadishu.

In a public appeal, authorities released the names and images of the suspects, who are believed to have been involved in the killing of 25-year-old Aamir Ismail Ali on February 14, 2025.

“Anyone who provides information that helps in apprehending these individuals will receive a $10,000 reward,” the police stated.

The suspects, identified as Sadam Omar Abdisamad and Abdisaaq Ali Mohamed Aflow, are believed to be hiding in the capital. Security forces have intensified efforts to locate and arrest them.

Authorities have vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice as the investigation continues, urging the public to assist in tracking down the fugitives.
