Somali Prime Minister appoints new Justice Permanent Secretary

Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali has appointed Ismail Jim’ale Alasow as new permanent secretary for ministry of Justice.
Ismail Jimaale, who has been the Interior Permanent secretary is expected to hand over office to Professor Yahye Ali Ibrahim who will taking over from him.
Professor Yahye Ali Ibrahim has been an advisor at the Interior docket before his appointment as permanent secretary. Prior to that Yahye had been the President of Somali International University before being appointed a week ago to the Interior ministry.
Professor Yahye has been instrumental in the selection of members to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and the Federalisation Commission.
