Somaliland delegates to vote for first six senators today

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Somaliland delegates will be voting today for the first six seats in the senate race that has had several false starts following the release of the revised list Tuesday.

Outgoing senate speaker Abdi Hashi will now have a contestant following uproar from a section of politicians from the break-away region last week after Hashi was picked as the only candidate for the first seat. Voting will take place at the air force hangar in Afisyoni bordering Aden Adde Airport.

Below is the list of the candidates who will be in the ballot today.
