Somaliland elections committee announces schedule for 5 seats

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The Somaliland State Elections Committee has announced the election schedule for 5 seats in the 11th Parliament of the Federal Government of Somalia.

The 5 seats currently announced are part of the 8 seats earlier announced by the Elections Committee.

Registration of candidates for the seats is expected to be completed by February 9, while elections for the five seats will take place on the 10th of this month.

Below are the 5 seats up for grabs and the sitting MPs:

1. HOP240: Suri Dirie Arab.

2. HOP241: Abdirizak Dahir Mohamed.

3. HOP263: Muse Said Jama.

4. HOP271: Abdirahman Mohamud Aateye

5. HOP205: Sahro Abdulkadir Abdirahman.
