South West President Meets SOS Agency to Discuss Strengthening Projects in the Region

GOOBJOOG NEWS | BAIDOA: Southwest Regional Government of Somalia president Abdazis Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen Monday received a delegation led by the regional director of East and South Africa of SOS Children’s Organization at the Presidential Palace in Baidoa.

The meeting mainly focused on strengthening of the projects that the organization is running in the region aimed at improving the livelihoods of residents of the region.

South West Regional Government’s Minister of Relief gave detailed reports on the challenges of the Regional Government that need to be supported in order to find a solution to the existing problems.

The South West Regional Government is at the forefront of the Regional Governments that have been negatively affected by drought, floods and conflicts in some areas.
