Three ISIS Militants Killed in Puntland-AFRICOM

GOOBJOOG NEWS|PUNTLAND: Three ISIS militants were killed in a US airstrike on Friday in Puntland, the African US Command (AFRICOM) has said.

AFRICOM said the strike hit ISI targets remote area in the vicinity of Dhaardaar, approximately 81 km southeast of Bosaso in Puntland.

“An initial assessment of the strike is that three ISIS militants were killed, with no civilian casualties,” the US Command said.

ISIS established itself in the Galgala mountains in Puntland’s Bari region in 2014 headed by former UK based preached Abdulkadir Mumin.
