GOOBOJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama Monday presided over a meeting that brought together top government officials to discuss the crucial task of stabilizing and delivering vital services to communities in recently liberated areas.

Officials in the meeting underscored the “government’s commitment to prioritizing key initiatives for development and service delivery in these regions.”

Deputy Prime Minister Jama emphasized the urgent need to restore essential public services, including education, health, sanitation, water, services which are key to improving the quality of life and ensuring sustainable development in these areas.

The Prime Minister stated that the federal government remains committed to its ongoing offensive aimed a flushing out the remnants of Al-Shabaab elements that continue to pose a security threat in some parts of the country.

He added that the government’s resolve to enhance security and stability in these areas remains a top priority to safeguard the well-being and safety of the populace ahead of security transition plans.

Participants emphasized the importance of coordinated actions and resource allocation to address immediate needs and support long-term development goals.
