Two brothers killed during SNA-Al-Shabaab clash in Beletweyne

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BELETWEYNE: Two children from the same family were killed in a crossfire between the militant group Al-Shabaab and a joint Somali army with the support of AMISOM in Beletweyne.

Sources said the two boys were hit by stray bullets when the two sides fought in Howl-Wadaag village in the outskirts of Beletweyne town.

The children’s family reportedly lives near a Djibouti army base in the area.

Beledweyne security officials have not yet commented on the attack but security was reported to have been restored some moments after the attack.
