Two brothers killed in deadly clashes in Sool region

GOOBJOOG NEWS|SOOL: Armed militias have in the last few hours attacked civilians on the outskirts of Bocame district in Sool region, causing deaths and injuries.

Two men, said to be brothers, were shot to death by the heavily armed militia while three others were wounded in the morning attack and were rushed to the Puntland capital, Garowe, for treatment.

Reports indicate that those killed today in the countryside of Bocame district were displaced from Yah village in the eastern part of Nugal region, and that the deadly clashes recently witnessed in the area are related to land conflict.
