Two die on the spot after gold mine collapses in Sanaag region

GOOBJOOG NEWS|SANAAG: Two miners died after the walls of a gold mine collapsed in Milho’s Calmadow Mountains in Sanaag region.

A third miner escaped with injuries and was rushed to the nearest medical facility by other miners who were also prospecting gold in the same area.

Somaliland police who took part in the rescue operation said investigations were underway to determine the events that led to the death of the two men.
