Two MPs elected in Jowhar today

GOOBJOOG NEWS/JOWHAR: The electoral delegates of Hirshabelle have today elected two Members of Parliament in Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle.

The first seat, HOP070, was won by Abdirahman Mohamed Sheikh after he received 71 votes, while his rival, Mohamud Ali Barise, received 14 votes.

Ali Mohamed Omar (Ali Balad), retained his seat which he has held for the last 8 years after he received 86 votes with one abstention.
