Two seats up for election in Jowhar today

GOOBJOOG NEWS/BAIDOA: Hirshabelle State Elections Implementation Team is today set to hold elections for two seats in the House of the People in Jowhar town.

The first seat, HOP024 previously held by Abdulkadir Arabow Ibrahim, will today be contested by three candidates namely: Bashir Maalim Ali Hassan, Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed (Bereey) and Yusuf Mahamed Abdi.

The second seat, HOP106 previously occupied by Mina Shibis, will today see Shadoor Haji, Ismail Hadole, a former Balcad district commissioner, and other candidates jostling for the seat.
