UN envoy James Swan meets with Puntland president

UN envoy to Somalia, James Swan, and representatives from the International Community held a meeting with Puntland State president on Wednesday.

The President of Puntland State of Somalia, Said Abdullahi Deni and James Swan discussed the 2021 Somali election process, security, debt forgiveness, and constitutional issues.

Both sides also disused how to improve and achieve political plans to solved issues between Puntland and the federal government which could post the security, economy and community development.

President Deni has been supporting Ahmed Madobe during Jubaland last election where the federal government has ignored Jubaland election which still pending and raised political dispute between the federal government and state governments.
