Unknown Floating Objects Washed up on Beaches in Mudug

A number of unknown floating objects suspected to be poisonous have washed up at undisclosed beach area in Mudug.
This is according Mohamed Ali Hussein of Himan and Heb local administration.
Speaking to Goobjoog the official said he believes that the drums contain chemical waste that is illegally dumped in to the ocean. He said this posed health hazard to the local residents.
“There are 12 of such drums that we suspect to contain chemical waste, and we call for help to secure their safe disposal” said the official.
Such unknown objects have surfaces on several beaches since Tsunami of 2004, and there are no official explanations or academic observation done on this.
