Wajir: Three injured in twin blasts

Three people are fighting for their lives at Wajir Referral Hospital after they were seriously injured in twin blasts on Thursday evening.

Three others sustained minor injuries in the 8pm incident which occurred in South C, a residential area of Wajir.

Eyewitnesses say that the blasts were five minutes apart.

The injured were rushed to Wajir Referral Hospital by police officers who arrived at the scene shortly after the blasts went off.

Wajir has suffered similar attacks in the past few months which authorities have pegged on business rivalries among the locals.
