Afgoye administration plans to demolish the illegal buildings along the main roads

The administration of Afgoye district in Lower Shabelle region has publicized new steps to fight the increasing number of the illegal buildings along the main roads in the town.

Afgoye district commissioner Haji Gabow told Goobjoog FM said his administration has given prior notices to the occupants of the building adding their orders fall on a deaf ears.

He said the administration will will take new plans to demolish the illegal building along the main roads and open up the blocked streets and lanes in the town so as to beef up security .

He added that the administration is actively geared towards improving the cleanness and beautification of the city.

The district commissioner finally called the public to take part in the developmental activities in the district including cleaning activities and beautification.
