GOOBJOOG NEWS|DHUSAMAREB: Ali Hassan Ali (Jeesto) who claims to be the legitimate elder of seat HOP#067 has opposed the Dispute Resolution Committees’ decision to uphold NISA Interim Commander Yasin Farey’s.

Ali penned his disapproval to the various electoral commissions, the Federal Government, Galmudug State, the Waran Consultative Council and the UN, stating that he would not accept the outcome of the investigation, adding that he was opposed to Galmudug State’s move in nominating ‘non-existent’ traditional elders.

He further lamented that all the evidence submitted by the Marooyin sub clan, indicating that he was the bonafide elder of the sub clan was hidden by the committee thus resulting in an unfair trial.

“Galmudug has no right to nominate non-existent traditional elders from the Marooyin clan who were created to loot the election and are not part of the clan culture,” said Jeesto.

He added that his clan will not accept the election of Farey and called on Prime Minister Mohamed Roble to intervene in the matter.

The Dispute Resolution Committee yesterday affirmed the election of Farey.
