Federal government shut down two radio stations in Mogadishu

Somali government security forces on Sunday shut down two local radio stations in Mogadishu.
The FM frequencies of the two radio stations Simba and Kulmiye were shut at around 8:00 AM for releasing the voice of Al-shabab spokesman Ali Dhere.
Senior official of Simba Radio confirmed to Goobjoog FM the shutdown of the radio adding that the forces took equipment of the station.
The owners and directors of the two radio stations were ordered to go to the Criminal Investigation Department for interrogation.
