GOOBJOOG NEWS|KISMAYO: The Jubaland Armed Forces Court executed this morning by firing squad two soldiers found guilty of killing two people in the state’s capital, Kismayo, on diverse dates.

The court, on June 29, 2022, found without reasonable doubt that Wayrah Khalif Yusuf had killed a woman identified as Halima Ali Robow, while Yusuf Hussein Abdi killed a National Army soldier, Abdullahi Ali Suli, on November 25 and November 17, 2020, respectively.

The execution of the two men comes a day after two other men were executed by the same court for the murder of two other people.

Following the killing of the convicts, the court maintained that it would not hesitate to condemn any murderer to death, saying it would help deter illegal and deliberate killings of innocent people.
