Mogadishu Launches SINNAAN Project to Modernise Infrastructure and Services

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Mogadishu’s municipal authorities have launched a new infrastructure initiative aimed at improving urban planning, strengthening engineering capacity and accelerating service delivery in the capital.

Banadir Deputy Governor for Public Works Abdimajid Dahir Adan said the SINNAAN project would support the development of a more modern and sustainable city by upgrading construction standards and improving coordination among institutions involved in urban development.

The initiative is expected to enhance the efficiency of public services while supporting a shift toward digital systems designed to attract investment and boost economic growth.

Adan said the project would contribute to building a more resilient, secure and well-planned Mogadishu capable of meeting future urban challenges.
