Mudug Regional Court orders execution of man accused of murder

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MUDUG: The Mudug Regional Court of Puntland has today ordered the execution of Jama Urur Farah, after he was found guilty of killing a civilian on 7th January 2022 in Bursalah area, Mudug region.

The Court said that thoroughInvestigations revealed that Jama Urur Farah, stabbed Feisal Jama Garre, 28 times on the upper torso with a knife before fleeing.

Present to witness the execution were the Galkayo District Commissioner, Mudug Regional Police officers and Mudug Regional Court officials.

The Mudug Regional Court of Puntland State of Somalia has on several occasions handed down death sentences to people accused of capital offences such as robbery and murder.
