Jawari: The no confidence motion will be tabled on Monday

The Speaker of parliament Hon. Mohamed Osman Jawari told reporters today that parliament sitting will resume on Monday and is scheduled to table the no confidence motion against the Prime Minister Abdiwali Sheik Ahmed.

The speaker said that the motion was in his office  for 15 days and that he cannot afford to hold longer that as its against the laws of the of the country.

The speaker vowed to deal with disruptive MPs who managed to stop previous parliament sittings on the subject “I will not allow any disturbances, the motion will go ahead, its constitutional for MPs to table any kind of motion, I will deal with disruptive elements decisively according to the parliamentary rules”.

Mr. Jawari was heading to Djibouti where he got an official invitation from his Djiboutian counterpart. He is expected to come back home on Sunday.
