Peace protest against tribal clashes held in Abudwak
Peace protest against the clan clashes was held in Abudwak district of Galgadud region today.
The protest was organized by the civil society especially women organizations in the district, hundreds of people with placard decorated with words about peace gathered at the center of the town.
Khalif Abdisamad Ali, social services head of Abudwak administration among the participants of peace protests told Goobjoog FM that the protesters presented the problems of tribal clashes adding that they urged the clan militias to lay down arms and advocate for peace.
He added that Abudwak administration will do its best to end the hostilities between the clan militia.
Fresh clan clashes in Abudwak district embarked after a civilian was killed in the district.
