PM Roble receives Saudi Ambassador to Somalia

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Somali Prime Minister Maohamed Hussein Roble today afternoon received in his office the Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Somalia, H.E Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Muwalad.

The Prime Minister thanked the Saudi Government for the support it has continued to lend to Somalia in various capacities, amid the difficulties the country has gone through, and hoped that relations between the two countries would improve following the election of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

For his part, Ambassador Ahmed Bin Mohammed Almuwalad thanked the Prime Minister and the Somali government for the cordial relations they have continued to maintain with the Saudi government, promising his country’s commitment to help Somalia in all areas including drought, economy, security, and the fight against terrorism.

Prime Minister Roble presented the Ambassador with medals in honor of the former Saudi Ambassador to Somalia, His Excellency Mohamed Khayad, as well as the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Humanitarian Affairs. taking aid from drought-affected Somalis.
