President Farmaajo directs government agencies to aid Baidoa attack victims
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has directed government agencies to immediately provide medical assistance to the victims of the terror attacks in Baidoa.
The president expressed condolences to the families and relatives of those killed in the attack, calling on the Somali people to stand up for the families of the victims of the terror attacks.
“I send my condolences to all families and relatives affected by terrorists of Al-Shabaab. I pray Allah to heal people who are injured in the explosions,” said President Farmajo.
At least 7 people were killed in suicide bombings that targeted two locations in the southwestern city of Baidoa and exploded within minutes of each other, according to witnesses.
The blasts came a day before the first anniversary of a truck bombing that left more than 500 people dead in Mogadishu, the worst ever attack in Somalia which was blamed on Islamist group Al-Shabaab.
