President Farmajo dismissed the chairman of Benadir Regional Court and the Court of Appeal

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo dismissed the Chairman of the Banadir Regional Court and the Appeal Court and appointed new Chairpersons.

The president appointed Muse Maalim Mohamed as the Chairman of the Banadir Regional court, while lawyer Ashir Omar Abdullahi as the Chairman of the Court of Appeal.

The president has dismissed the two positions from Mr Aweys Sheikh Abdullahi Weheliye as the chairman of Benadir Regional Court and Mr Salah Sheikh Ibrahim Dhiblaawe the Banadir Court of Appeal.

President Farmaajo urged the Chairperson of the Commission to sustain the law of the country and serve the Somali community in a fair way, and on the other hand, the president wished the leaving leaders for a bright future.

The President’s action is based on his commitment to reform the judicial system in the country as one of the key priorities of the government system.
