PM Roble appoints security team for the inauguration of President Mohamud

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has appointed a seven-member Security team for the inauguration of the newly elected Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud set for June 9th, in the capital Mogadishu.

The team will be chaired by the Minister of interior Abdullahi Mohamed Nur and the members include; Defense minister Abdulkadir Jama, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Duran Farah, Justice Minister Hassan Haji, SNA chief Gen. Odowa Yussuf Rage, Somali Police commander Gen. Abdi Hassan Hijaar and National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) chief Mahad Salat.

Preparations for the inauguration of Somalia’s tenth president are underway, with Heads of State and top government officials from across the continent expected to attend the ceremony.
