Radio Goobjoog celebrates its second anniversary of existence
Radio Goobjoog 88.5 FM, a private owned radio is celebrating its second anniversary of existence to mark the day when the Radio first came to air on 14th July 2012 in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.
During the two years on air, radio Goobjoog with its motto “ Always loyal to the public” has broadcasted several unique and quality programs that has revived the hopes of the people, these programs include parliamentary news, empowering disables, women affairs, Daljir, a program that illustrates loyalty and patriotism of citizens, media we need and ask the mayor and district commissioners among other important programs.
Also the radio has expanded to several regions of the country that like Lower Shabelle, middle Shabelle, Hiran and Mudug regions that had ambitions to get unbiased news which radio Goobjoog assured according to many listeners in all the areas where the frequency reached.
Many leaders including minister for information of federal government of Somalia Mustafe Sheikh Ali Dhulow, former president of transitional federal government Abdiqasim Salad Hassan, former Prime minister of transitional federal government of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and AMISOM sent congratulations to Goobjoog FM on its second anniversary of existence. all leaders encouraged Goobjoog FM to double its tireless efforts of airing unprejudiced news.
Goobjoog FM expands to all over the world as people are now able to listen to the news and programs through live stream.
