Somali defence minister reaches Guri-El town

 

 

 

High delegation led minister for defence of Somali federal government, Abdikadir Ali Diini reached Guri-El town on Monday.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by politicians, traditional elders and members of civil society.
Mr.Diini is expected to take meeting with leaders of Moderate Islamist group, Ahlu-Sunna waljamea, and traditional elders and Somali national army officials as to commence reconciliation process according to reliable source.
Ahlu-Sunna Waljamea has severally battled with the government forces over the control of Gur-El which led the game to be tag of war.
The visit comes a day after Somali government forces and Ahlu Sunna Wal Jamea militia briefly clashed in gun battle in the outskirts of Galgadud regional district of Guri’el,
