Somalia, Pakistan Move to Strengthen Diplomatic Cooperation Following Embassy Talks
GOOBJOOG NEWS | ISLAMABAD: Somalia and Pakistan are expected to deepen diplomatic and institutional cooperation following talks at the Somali embassy in Islamabad that focused on improving consular services, strengthening bilateral engagement and expanding support for Somali citizens in Pakistan.
The discussions reviewed the embassy’s ongoing operations, the delivery of consular services and efforts to reinforce diplomatic relations between the two countries, with officials stressing the importance of maintaining an effective diplomatic presence to support growing cooperation.
Participants also discussed ways to enhance coordination between the embassy and Somali government institutions to better serve Somali nationals, facilitate bilateral engagement and advance shared priorities in diplomacy, education and development.
