South-west State sends delegation to oversee peace treaty signed by two clans

The administration of South-West state has commenced initiatives to enhance peace agreements signed by brotherly clans engaged in armed confrontation in Lower Shabelle region previously.
The minister for reconciliation of South-West State, Abdi Noor Araale has noted that they sent a delegation comprising of ministers and officials to the two clans as to proceed and tighten the agreements.
“The delegation is carrying out efforts to converge the representatives of both sides who met earlier in Afgooye town and agreed peace treaty” the minister highlighted.
He highlighted that the delegation will visit many areas which both clans are living including KM50 and other localities occupied by the clans.
“Once treaty was signed, there is no problem but we want to brush up the agreements” Araale said.
On other side the minister said that administration is always ready to create peace environment which can lead developments and prosperity in the State.
This comes at a time when furious fighting erupted between two clans living in Qoyoolay district few days ago.
