Supreme Court throws out Yasin’s case, deals blow to Farmaajo game plan

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The Supreme Court in Mogadishu has declined to hear a petition to overturn the dismissal of Fahad Yasin’s election dealing a major blow to the outgoing President Mohamed Farmaajo’s quest to have his foremost underling from heading to parliament.
The Court said it did not have the jurisdiction to hear the case in which Yasin sought to nullify the decision of the Federal Elections Indirect Team (FEIT) on March 30 which rejected his election in HirShabelle.
