Three Somali soldiers killed in Mogadishu today

Armed assailants killed three Somali soldiers in Hilwa district of Mogadishu on Thursday at noon time . At least three assailants approached soldiers from behind and shot them dead using handguns. Eye witness has told Goobjoog.

“Armed-men attacked Intelligence checkpoint at Ex. Control Bal’ad from behind and killed three soldiers and then escaped” said eyewitness who did not like to be named.

Security forces has immediately reached the scene and collected the bodies of killed soldiers.

No group has claimed the responsibility of the attack, but Alshabab militants frequently carry out attacks against government targets in Mogadishu and other main cities.
