Hirshabelle Residents Urged to Support Ongoing Offensive Against Al-Shabaab

GOOBJOOG NEWS | ELOWE: Residents of Hirshabelle regional state have been urged to back the federal government’s efforts in its second phase of its offensive against the Al-shabaab.

Hirshabelle regional leader Ali Abdullahi Hussein made the calls Wednesday while ddressing a prayer gathering at Eelowe area in Middle Shabelle region where he inspected various development projects in Warsheikh district such as the establishment of health centers, educational facilities, and water wells.

He reiterated the importance of stability in facilitating development projects adding that the government forces are committed to liberating several parts of Hirshabelle state during the second phase.

He further urged residents of the region to actively participate in the second phase of liberation and contribute to the development of local governance and security councils.
