The administration of Middle Shabelle region is prepared to start a reconciliation conference to solve conflicts between the clans in the region.
Middle Shabelle deputy governor Ali Nuure told Goobjoog FM that the aim of the conference is to end the hostilities and tensions and strengthen the brotherly bond among the clans in the region.
“ Middle Shabelle region is committed to strengthen the brotherly bond among the clans in the region so that they live peacefully” Mr. Nuure said.
He stated that the newly established regional state of South West Somalia led by Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan will take part in the conference.
On the other hand the administration stated they will launch operations in the region to maintain the over security of the region and fight Al-shabab presence.
