One Al-Shabaab Militant Killed, Another Arrested After Police Attack in Garissa

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GARISSA: One Al-Shabaab militant was killed and another one arrested following an attack on a police vehicle in Garissa County in Kenya.

According to police, the militants attacked the police vehicle with an IED planted on the road in Hagadera camp before dawn on Thursday.

Pictures from the scene show a police pickup truck damaged after it reportedly ran into an improvised explosive device (IED).

There was no immediate information on police casualties.
