Parliament session opens, agendas distributed

Today’s session of federal parliament has opened, the agendas of the meeting comprising of six points was distributed.

1. Welcoming president Hassan to the federal parliament and the speech of Somali Speaker.
2. The requests of the appointed Prime Minister.
3. Votes of the parliament to approve or disapprove the appointed Prime minister.
4. Swearing the Prime Minister.
5. Thank-giving of the Prime Minister.
6. The speech of Somali president.

Our reporters in the parliament say the MPs are seated in their respective positions but the president and the appointed premier have not reached the parliament.

The security of the parliament has been tightened by government forces and the main around the parliament building blocked.
